It aims to improve your business skills like sales, marketing and negotiating, in order to help you stay in business! Whether you're seasoned in LabVIEW consultancy or just starting out, we've designed this day especially for you. It's all about how you want to engage, learn, and share. What’s that? You don’t run your own business and are quite happy being employed|? That’s fine, but sometime in your career you will have to learn to sell your skills and negotiate, especially if you’re employed by a larger company. So come along, you will undoubtedly learn something that will help you in your career.

How does it work?

The idea of another fully planned out conference gave us a yawn, however structuring our first unconference was also terrifying. We decided it could benefit all if we did a mix of the two.

What can you expect?

A Keynote to Inspire:

We've invited longtime LabVIEW Community Member Katya Prince of Prince Consulting to share things we may not always think about when starting a consulting business. She'll provide valuable insights to spark our discussions. The rest of the day is yours to shape.

The unconference format means that, after the keynote, anyone (yes, even you!) can propose a discussion on any topic that is important to you. Perhaps you have something useful you want to share, perhaps you have a topic you’d like others to help you with. Propose a topic, we’ll add you to the agenda with a room and a time, and see who shows up in your online room to discuss your topic. You’ll be helping yourself and helping others too. Other than that you are free to go to any topic in any room at any time to hear what others have to say. Don’t worry, there’ll also be some breakout time for meeting with others for an informal chat. It’s a conference that is guided by you.
